An ultranationalist believes in their nation to an extreme extent along with showing patriotism towards their country. Ultranationalism is the root cause of a genocide to a very large extent because often people become ethnocentric. A thinking of superiority sets in their minds which causes them to think that others nations are inferior to them. Due to this idea, they exterminate other domains so that they can feel a sense of great sovereignty. The same happened during the Holocaust and the ethnic cleansing in Bosnia. Genocides abuse human rights because citizens are tortured brutally caused inequality between different races.
